Johnny Weir has become a mini celebrity in Vancouver. He may have come in 6th at the Olympic Men’s Figure Skating short program last night, but he came in on top with his fashion and talking for the media. He has been with the Olympic team for a while and put in his dues when it comes to being in figure skating, but now, when seem in front of the world, he has become the Olympic Men’s figure skater everyone wants to know more about.

The man does seem to know how to be a strong athlete. Last night he combined passion with power and her performance was strong. While 6ths doesn’t seem like a good place to be, Weir can kick up to the top three with a strong finish and some luck.

The entire sport, especially last night, became a what did Johnny say moment. Johnny appears to be talking a lot and people have kept track of what he has said over the years, putting his quotes up online people see he is a tell it like it is sort of man.

Johnny Weir is also a fashion focus and has been the target of several anti fur organizations. Sometimes it just doesn’t matter how well you can skate but to be hated a simple lock of fur will do.

Johnny Weir may walk away from the Olympics in Vancouver without a medal, but he surely won’t be walking away without being known in the world.
