Artist creates Transformer sculpture from actual auto parts

Artist Nikola Nikolov from Studio Re-Creation has created a Transformer-like sculpture from used car parts. Though the artist has named it after its namesakes in the movies Transformers, it’s not as agile as those shape-shifting autobots were, and doesn’t transform actually from a car into a robot either.
The 90 kg, 200 cm high sculpture rises from the ashes of an old Lada Samara Diva compact car. Nikola cut the car apart into small pieces and welded them back together to make this ‘powerful figure’.
