Peeping into the future of sustainable transportation, Danish industrial designer Øivind Alexander Slaatto comes up with the initial renderings of a concept public vehicle for eco-geeks. Dubbed as SPHERE, the globular vehicle recognizes electronic IDs, such as credit card or cellphone. Anyone, having one of these IDs, could avail the vehicle for a nippy commute across the future mega-cities. Users need to pay only for distance or time.

As the vehicle fits into any available space, parking won’t be a worrying factor anymore. Therefore, with no parking tickets or mechanics-bills, what it offers you is a private sphere almost anywhere. Furthermore, the compact vehicle provides enough legroom for those who prefer power napping in the thick of crowd.
