Furthering their ‘family tradition’ of creating electric bikes, Eva Håkansson and her husband Bill Dubé – the noted originator of Killacycle – propose to build one of the fastest DIY electric motorcycle. Dubbed as Killajoule, the 400-mph streamliner will eye a spot in the TTXGP electric grand prix at Bonneville. The couple will try going past the speed records progressively. First, they aspire to beat the 176.434-mph record set by Kent Riches, and later, they’ll crack down on the 400 mph milestone.

A chrome-moly frame envelopes the motorcycle in fabrication. The vehicle will make use of about 1,300 cells a huge Cummins Onan generator that uses biodiesel to recharge batteries. Even the forklift is electric.
