Eco-artist etches unique graffiti art on urban walls

The Portuguese-born, London-based artist Alexandre Farto aka Vhils utilizes decaying street walls to create some very fresh wall portraits by scratching the wall surface with precision. His wall portraits bring diverse rich tones and shadows together. The 20-year-old artist tries to reflect how urbanism is swallowing up city streets.
