Nicer News is a an online media source that funnels uplifting news and events from all over the world. From one site, you can read and browse through a collaboration of positive articles that have been posted by various global major news sources.

With all the problems in the world today, the daily news is often depressing and leaves us with the impression that the future is dismal and hopeless. At Nicer News, we believe that its essential for people to be aware of all the good things that are happening in the world too. So whether you are a optimist, a pessimist, or a realist, Nicer News can brighten your day and renew your hope for the future.
Where does Nicer News find its articles?
Nicer News displays a collaboration of articles from various global news sources. In no way does Nicer News take credit for the stories that are posted on the site. Full credit is given to the original Author, Publication, Date and all other Source related materials. If the site eventually makes enough money in advertising revenue, I will be able to purchase original and un-copyrighted content. Original content is very expensive, so any financial backing interested would be greatly appreciated. If I do succeed in raising the funds for original content, I will post an announcement on the site.
So why is there advertising?
Nicer News site does display minimal advertising in order to cover the budget and fees of the site. 60% of all revenue that is collected from the site is donated to charities. In addition, a Paypal donation section is available for your use, and 60% of your donations will be sent to the monthly charity of choice. The first donations will most likely go to World Vision, and suggestions for future charities are welcomed.
How can I get involved?
As a reader of Nicer News, you can get involved in several ways:
- Forward stories that you feel would suit the site. Please do not send articles that are biased or controversial in any political or religious way. The final posting decision will be made by the site administrator on a case-by-case basis.
- Comment on any article that is posted on Nicer News. We welcome your feedback!
- Donate to the site and help keep the site running! Remember that 60% of your donations will be sent to the monthly charity of choice.
- If you would like to become an administrator for the site please let me know and we can discuss involvement.
